Frenchtown, NJ - The Frenchtown Business & Professional Association (FBPA) will be hosting "Second Saturdays in Frenchtown" where shops and galleries will be open until 8 PM every "Second Saturday" of the month from May to September. The dates to be included are May 12, June 9, July 14, August 11, and September 8, rain or shine.

On each Second Saturday, Jericho Grass will be playing bluegrass music in the upper lot and the Mitchell Cheng Jazz Quartet in the lower lot. Both bands will play from 6-8 pm. Local musician Skye Van Saun will be performing on Bridge Street from 4-6 pm. Music is sponsored by the FBPA.

Yellow Dog Pet Supply will be having a poetry contest written by you about your pet. Children and adults are welcome to participate. Poems will be accepted all month in written and typed form and can be dropped off at Yellow Dog on 8 Race Street. A winner will be chosen every Second Saturday and posted at Yellow Dog, and on our website and on Facebook, where the voting will take place. The National Hotel will be hosting a "Saturday Night Live Performance Music Series" downstairs in The Rathskeller Pub every Saturday, from 9-11 pm. For the music line up and more information, visit www.thenationalhotelnj.com.

FRENCHTOWN PTO HOSTS SPRING RUMMAGE SALE

The Frenchtown PTO is hosting a rummage sale on Saturday, May 19th from 8 am until 4 pm and Sunday, May 20th from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at the Frenchtown American Legion Hall.

The Frenchtown PTO funds a range of enrichment programs and activities including student assemblies on topics such as character building and recycling. In fact, the PTO also is working with the Frenchtown Green Team on a number of public awareness programs leading up to the town’s 1st Green Fair planned for Sept. 29th.

The Frenchtown PTO Rummage Sale is a great way to support the school and the community. Items for sale include furniture, clothing, books, toys, movies and much more.
